This song has always been the sexiest song in my playlist.
Wild West End by Dire Straits, 1977. The lyrics, the guitar, the whole sound...the idea of walking with your wild best friend. I always picture Jay and I holding hands and walking on Haight Street.

good song - kind of reminds me of the Big Lebowski movie
Awwwww!
Now "Brothers in Arms" definitely had it's place in my life, but 70's Dire Straits was sooooo good.
I recently bought Making Movies and their eponymous album on the iTunes. I got a sudden need for nostalgic sounds from 1995 when I travelled through Europe and the Middle East with a walkman and three cassettes. On had the Dire Straits albums on each side, one had UB40 Signing Off on both sides, and the third had Jonathan Richman and Ben Harper on each side.
"Greasy greasy greasy hair"
An all time favorite line.
How funny that your post is about sexy songs. I was JUST listening to Pandora and "Crash" by Dave Matthews came on... his smokey voice and the line, "... hike up your skirt a little more..." Yummy. My thought was "what a sexy song", then I opened your blog and read your header... we've got something fun on the brain today!
I like all of these thoughts. Tom, was this song in the Big Lebowski? I only saw that movie once. Toddy, that's funny about the 3 tapes and your favorite line. I like "Ch Ch Chinatown". Shona, I went and listened to Brothers in Arms. Beautiful. Shari - that is neat timing, indeed. Have you by chance heard Stevie Nicks' version of Crash? It's pretty cool. Bec, (-:
Okay I think the fact that you embedded a song in your blog post is very sexy! LOL, clearly I need more dates with my husband. I've really lost my mojo if I read this post and was more impressed with the technology.
Jess, I think you've got a win-win. With your hubby being an engineer, he's likely to find it very sexy that YOU found the technology sexy. You should go tell him...
