I'm thrilled that you blogged about the County Fair!! I attend every year and cannot miss it! Something about the exhibition halls, carnival games and the corn dogs that draw me in!!

Carnival rides freak me out. The infrastructure all seems a bit too... temporary. If you like, check out the carnival pix by my friend and colleague Linda Kramer.
I know what you guys mean about the rides being a bit freaky...There are certain "accidents" that I'd be really mad if it happened to me, such as a mudslide & shark attack. Think I'll add carnival ride mishap to that list. Thanks for sharing Linda Kramer's link - her portraits at the carnival are gorgeous.
