I love this postcard. I got it at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur. The artist in the truck is Ed Leeper. Ed calls himself a "serial" artist and is quoted as saying, "I'm really content with art work that takes a lot of time". He also likes to say, "I transform things people don't want into things people still don't want."

Jay and I are heading to Big Sur next week with his parents - I'll keep my eye out for Mr. Leeper.

classic. i've had that postcard on my noticeboard for a few years. big sur is an amazing place. lots of good folk there.
