Pine Haven Collective builds a shack

The ever wonderful Pine Haven Collective had a show tonight in New Hampshire. Here is the shack they built for it. I like how Joe & Jenny's dog Reyes takes a little nap inside.

(movie ends at 42 seconds).

Rad.

I wonder where they gathered all the material? I would love something like this along with tree stump chairs and table in my new, wild & unruly backyard.

How cool! That dog is so cute. Just chillin'. I checked out your show post at Corduroy Surf -- very neat. Yor print is awesome. And I liked the one person who had some lacy thing and a painted house. Very cool.

Have a good weekend, J!

Wow looks really functional! Why is it all hipster surf shacks are indoors? Keep the Vans clean?

umm...yeah...looks like they do them outside too...

Oh cool, anon! I actually hadn't gone that far back in the WWW archives so I'm glad you pointed that out. I love the photo from the perspective of being inside the shack with the sun glinting through. The thing is, if I found a bunch of driftwood on the beach, I doubt I'd be able to make something as good as that.

Maybe a future interview...how to build your own beach shack, by the Pine Haven Collective....

Thanks a lot Mariss! And the artist who paints the houses with the lace (and uses coffee in her paintings) is Jenny McGee Dougherty. Check out her blog: http://rustedmustard.blogspot.com/

Thanks, Jamie for the kind words! We are really passionate about what we do, and we work really hard at it. It's so sweet of you to always show us so much love! We can't thank you enough. It's funny that someone thinks that this is some hipster thing...they should see us when we are sweating our asses off hauling driftwood for hours on end through ten inches of snow!
